Is a central processing unit designed for high-performance automation tasks. It features a 1024 KB work memory and supports both MPI/DP (12 Mbit/s) and Ethernet PROFINET interfaces. A Micro Memory Card is required for operation. This CPU is compatible with the S7 Distributed Safety software package from version 5.4 onwards. Please note that this product has been discontinued since October 1, 2022, and has been succeeded by the 6ES7317-2FK14-0AB0, which offers enhanced features.
